How to reach us with a correction, a question about a guide, or a specification we have recorded wrongly. Corrections are acted on and acknowledged.

Updated

There is no contact form on this site, because a form means a script and a script means a third party. Email is fine.

Corrections

Corrections are the messages we most want to receive. If a specification here is wrong, a link is dead, a product has been discontinued, or a recommendation no longer makes sense, tell us.

When you do, it helps enormously to include:

  • The address of the page.
  • The specific claim that is wrong.
  • Where the correct figure comes from, if you know.

We fix the article, update the date on it, and say what changed. A correction that arrives with a source usually gets applied the same week.

Questions about a guide

If a guide did not answer your actual question, that is useful to know, because the question you had is very likely the question somebody else has. We would rather hear that a guide missed the point than not hear it.

What we cannot help with

Personal recommendations for your specific setup. The guides and the calculators are the answer we have; we cannot spec a build over email.

Warranty, returns or support for anything you bought. We are not the retailer or the manufacturer, and we have no relationship with either. Their support channel is the one that can help.

Review requests. We do not do hands-on testing and do not accept review units, so there is nothing to send. See how we make money .

Paid placement. Not for sale at any price. See the same page.

Who you are writing to

The site is written by two people, described on the about page. It is a small operation and replies are not instant, but corrections get read.
